EVIDENCE & LIMITATIONS

Useful estimates. Honest limits.

HUMUV’s approach is to make the night easier to understand without asking you to wear a sensor. Credibility means being clear about what has—and has not—been demonstrated.

What the phone can observe

The planned system uses indirect acoustic signals. Breathing patterns, movement-related sounds, and room disturbances may be informative, but an acoustic pattern is not the same as directly measuring sleep.

What has not been established

This website does not present a completed HUMUV clinical validation study or verified accuracy figures. We are not claiming sleep-apnea detection, diagnosis, medical monitoring, or polysomnography-equivalent staging.

What needs testing

Device variation, distance, background noise, shared bedrooms, and missed or misclassified events all need evaluation. Testing should measure uncertainty and failure cases, not only successful nights.

How we will communicate results

As product evidence becomes available, this page should identify the tested version, study method, reference measurements, and limitations. Until then, product screens are illustrative previews.

Certain HUMUV technologies are patent pending.
